Reduce energy consumption in municipal buildings by 20% by 2030
The Town of Carrboro is firmly committed to cutting municipal greenhouse gas emissions. This measure uses Fiscal Year 2022–2023 energy levels as our baseline target to reduce energy consumption in Town operated buildings by 20% by 2030. In FY 2026-2027, our goal is to reduce building energy usage by 500 MMBTU.
